THE STORY

"Mr.
Wolf? " "Yes?" "Hello, this is the Automobil Revue Switzerland."

The editor in charge at the other end of the phone tells me that he wants to report on Lotus Esprit and  James Bond in the quarterly printed glossy magazine of the Automobil Revue. For the provided photo shoot he has booked a professional photo model for Saturday the 09th of October, which is said to resemble the former Bond girl, Barbara Bach. The question of whether I want to take action, he would probably no longer needed to ask.

Now we have yet to find a suitable location, so I allowed myself to submit a proposal, the Pilatus Aircraft Factory in Stans.
Auric Enterprises, as this company was listed in "Goldfinger", I have seen frequently from the outside, the entrance to the premises was denied to me so far, however.

But still it seemed only to be fixed with the photo shooting on Saturday. He, the model
and the camera team would therefore come to my hometown.
Everything was perfect, as the editor a few days later called me again and told that we also will have a photo session for Friday 08th at the aircraft factory.
Bond Girl ? Birgit, my wife !

The deadline was approaching, our Lotus was already polished and ready in the garage and then it finally happened.
THE MISSION

With tuxedo dress and Walther pistole set in the boot-room we started our mission in
Stans. Once there we quickly changed our clothes and then we went into the premises. Previously, our personal details were recorded, as the aircraft factory is subject to strict security regulations.

My blood pressure rose, my heart beat faster and faster as we approached the Goldfinger Hall, as in front of the hall there was a Pilatus PC-6 Porter plane placed, as has happened in "GoldenEye".
It was like in the movie, the positions had been taken, the camera angle was set, everything was checked and the shooting started: "ACTION"
Same again and the next shot was taken.
This play also was followed by the staff from the aircraft company, they pressed their nose against the window glass and snapped photos with their mobile phones.

We changed the hall, now saw the production of the aircraft and were amazed at least as strong as the people who heard the roaring sound of the Lotus engine moving in.
The aircraft were straightened, pulled out of the hall and the Lotus staged. Again we had our gig and felt like Roger Moore and Barbara Bach.
The day passed much too quickly, but still waited for a second use for me.

It was Saturday the 09th October and the camera team, editor and model arrived on time, coming from Berne. I changed the car number plates of the Lotus to the original in the Bond movie, the images should be perfect.
Cool stunts were simulated, virtual villains shot and iconic photoshots of the past re-enacted.
The model - in the film, the Russian agent Major Anya Amasova or also known as TripleX - felt back in the '70s and during the shooting she was probably a little infected in the Bond-fever.
Four hours later, everything was in the box and thus a further short-story written.
